SAPON ARTISAN SOAPS

Michael, creator and director of Sapon, established this business in 2015, focussing on the wholesale and market clientele. He enjoyed a booming trade, right up until 2020 when world events began to restrict business. He quickly realised he needed an online presence, which is when he came to All Is Light to seek assistance in creating a webpage specifically with the retail client in mind. He asked that the site have 2 focuses, one was to list all the products he sold by retail, and the second one was to include extensive facts on the soaps and bath bombs, their intended use, their medicinal qualities and their features. In a nutshell, the site needed to act as an online brochure. This eCommerce site was a lot of fun to design, with its vibrant colours and quirky elements. We utilised and drew on the colours of the soaps with their swirls of coloured ingredients, and weaved the content within the boxes of images and colours. Michael loved the design so much that he asked us for a brochure and a building sign with the same design elements to maintain the brand and style. We usually build on the WordPress platform, but in this case we were asked to create the site using Wix as Michael was familiar with the backend and wished to be able to edit his own side afterwards. We were more than happy to oblige.
