In the many years All Is Light has been operating, different industries seem to present over and over again; areas in which you could say we specialise, even though we tend to consider ourselves as all-rounders. One area that we seem to continually work in is education photography. This is not your typical yearly school group photos, but rather promotional photography for preschools, schools and universities. Education is quite a competitive industry these days and institutions engage our services to help them stand out from the crowd with fantastic education photos.

This has increased significantly over the last few years since we became an approved supplier with the QLD Department of Education. We have a very strong working relationship with the department that sees us travelling all over the state taking both photos and videos. In addition, we also work with many institutions independently.

We really love this sort of work – you never know what’s going to happen when kids are involved, and it’s a great exercise in letting things flow and unfold as they need to. Anyone with kids knows that trying to control things can be a futile endeavour. We have a knack for connecting with kids and allowing them to shine through in photos. Kids are amazing like that. Once they realise it’s a safe place and they’re encouraged to have fun, well they just don’t hold back. Have a look at our gallery here to see what we mean. Education photography can also involve the teachers and administration staff of the various institutions. It might be headshots of faculty members at a university, coordinators at university campus accommodation or running ad campaigns to attract teachers to rural locations.

Education is a very strong area for All Is Light and one that is growing each year. We really love being an active part of promoting education in Queensland and you can see this from the photos we capture.
