Thought I’d open the blog for 2017 with a quick look at the family portraits of the gorgeous Pash family, taken just after new year.
What a picture postcard family these guys are. Truly beautiful inside and out.
As some of you may know, I normally concentrate on commercial photography and videography.
However, I used to shoot a lot of family portraits and weddings prior to focusing on the commercial stuff. I really love the spontaneity of a family portrait shoot and the amazing memories that can be created for people. Great family portraits like these are often treasured for years, even across generations. Creating these with families really is a privilege and something that is very special to be a part of.
Who knows, maybe there’ll be a bit more of this in store for 2017.
I’m very open to it, I just don’t promote myself as a family portrait guy. If anyone is interested in this for their own families, please feel free to get in touch via my contact page.
That’s about it for now. I’ll let the photos do the talking. Here is a selection of other shots from our shoot. A big shout out and thanks to Leah, Ben and Mikey for being such amazing subjects and for sharing their family here on the blog. Love you guys, you rock.
Absolutely gorgeous photos Dean, your ability to capture the joy and love of three in a family is a gift from Heaven.
Thanks Bernadette, we had a lovely time together and it shows in the photos. That’s the best way to get great shots, have a great time whilst taking them. It was a lovely chrissy present to give them, something they’ll treasure for years.
Stunning images Dean. Your have truly captured the genuine warmth and love of this family. This shoot shows how your talent truly exceeds the boundaries of commercial briefs . . . Brilliant work!
Hey Daile, thanks for dropping by and for the lovely comments. I do like shooting family portraits as a counter point to the commercial stuff all the time.
Hope 2017 is a great year for you and the Salt team.
