Not long after that first gig we continued shooting for commercial businesses and private portraits. In 2005 we were asked by dear friends in Mackay to photograph their wedding. We are forever grateful for the faith and trust they showed in us to cover their important day. Dean has always said, and maintains to this day, if you can shoot a wedding you can shoot anything. It involves people, landscapes, products, food, action, events and all of it under a certain amount of pressure. Most of all though it teaches you how to be with people, how to interact with them and be part of the experience without taking it over or imposing. This set a foundation for everything that was to follow.
